Hip Dysplasia
The Bearded Collie Club policy on HD is that those dogs owned by the member of the Club and mentioned in all official club publications should have their status indicated with regard to Xraying for signs of Hip Dysplasia. This applies in the yearbook to advertisments, dogs included in the Rolls of Honour and dogs in the Stud Dog List.

Adverts use the following abbreviations:-
NX The dog has not been Xayed ( This will include all dogs under the age of 12 months as this is the minimum age for submissionof xrayed dogs into the KC BVA Scheme

X The dog has not been scored. This fact is not to be taken as any indication of the state of a dogs hips

XS The dog has been Xrayed and Scored.. There is no compulsion for owners to give the actual score awarded and the absence of a score should not be taken as any indication of a high score.
