Judges Critique

Thank you for a high quality entry at the club open show held in Blackwood, Gwent. There were some very close, difficult decisions to make. Some movement was a bit erratic, don't know if it was the matting or the lines on the floor caused this?

B.I.S. was Caramac Crown Prince, R.B.I.S. and B.O.S. was Pipadene Once Upon A Time and B.P.I.S. was Moonhills Forever Classic and B.V. was Sunbree Shades Of Silver of Bethlyntee.
DOGS

M.P.D. (2) 1. & R.B.P.I.S. Moorhouse's Willowmead Just Wonderful, good head,neck & length of rib. Nice outline. Moved steadily with reach & drive. 2 Carter's Roseollie Midnight Cowboy, 6 months brown baby, liked his overall shape but would have liked more neck.

P.D. (5) 1. W. Just Wonderful 2.Clark's Moonhills Master Copy, well constructed puppy, correct length to height 3. Davies & Fisher's Snowmead Simply Molby.

J.D. (4) 1. Pryde's Cherrytop Comet, liked his length, correct proportions & his steady, driving movement, kept his topline standing & moving. 2. Lindsay's Brambledale Bright Knight, a nice happy dog, well constructed with a dark eye, not the length of 1. 3. Donalds Pipadene Paperback Writer.

Y.D. (1) S. Simply Molby liked his shape & level topline but would like him a fraction taller. A bit unsettled standing.

G.D. (6) 1. Appleby's Diotima In Your Dreams, still some maturing to do & coat to grow but beautifully constructed, good head, neck, rib, level topline. Steady, free, driving movement. 2. Scott's Apple Jack At Ramberhay, liked his length, good shoulders, well proportioned, pity he wouldn't settle. 3. Bett's Lost In A Storm From Pipadene.

P.G.D. (9) 1. & R.B.D. Emerson's Raefells Firecracker, a plain slate, good length to height, correct lay of shoulder, good rib & topline. Moved well covering plenty of ground. 2. Webb's Braddabrook Treburley, well presented & constructed dog, would have liked him a fraction longer. 3. Felton's Labooshar Lord Spencer.

L.D. (3) 1. Carter's Roseollie River Dancer, good head & expression, good type, well presented, moved steadily with drive. 2. Dovey's Roseollie Spanish Dancer Of Sturtmoor, litter brother to 1, never settled. Well made & proportioned dog. 3. Carter's Roseollie Vladimir.

O.D. (4) 1. & B.D. & B.I.S. Richardson's CCaramac Crown Prince, handsome brown dog, lovely outline, good head, well arched neck, excellent shoulder & length & depth of rib. Moved with reach & drive. 2. Donald's Tamevalley Missouri Storm, strongly made dog, broad head, well constructed & moved well. 3. Baker & Porteous' Moonhills Chevy Chase.

M.P.B. (4) 1. Dumbrell's Bethlyntee Summer Breeze, lovely dark brown 8 month old puppy, liked her outline standing but spoiled somewhat on the move by the tail coming up. Correct length to height. 2. Cornthwaite's Braddabrook Delilah, very much a baby, liked her shape & length, moved steadily for one so young. 3. Thomas' Roseollie Posse's Princess.

P.B. (4) 1. & B.P.I.S. White's Moonhills Forever Classic, lovely, quality feminine puppy, good head, neck, shoulder & rib, beautiful standing & effortless steady mover. 2. Whyard's Moonhills Such Delight, sister to 1, different type but liked her very much. Long, strongly made but not settled on the move. 3. Baker & Porteous' Moonhills Monkey Puzzle.

J.B. (6) 1. Tomlinson's Coalacre First Lady, good length of back & reach of neck, level topline standing & moving, well angulated rear, moved with reach & drive. 2. Bett's Pipadene Postscript, liked her body shape & type, moved steadily but without drive of 1. 3. Wigginton's Deedledee That's My Girl.

Y.B. (6) 1. C. First Lady. 2. Carter & Palmer's Woodacre Wynter Glow, nice, well constructed brown bitch, coat mixed at moment but good harsh coat coming, moved well. 3. Sharpe's Brambledale Batista.

N.B. (2) 1. B. Batista 2. Burdge's Breaksea Back To Nature, pleasing standing but unsettled on the move.

P.G.B. (3) 1. Sharpe's Brambledale Brighde, good length of back, lovely head & dark eye, moved well 2. Sharpe's Brambledale Braint, another with a lovely dark eye giving correct expression, liked her shape, more settled on the move in this class.

L.B. (6) A very strong difficult class to judge. 1. Moorhouse's Barkly Bagatelle of Willowmead, still needs a little more coat to complete the picture but won this class on her correct length to height proportions, excellent construction, level topline & steady driving movement. 2. Baker & Porteous' Moonhills Moving Image, lovely brown girl, good head, nice length of back,good bone, did not move out with drive as I am sure she can. 3. Palmer's Woodacre Wild Rose.

O.B. (9) 1. & B.B. Bett's Pipadene Once Upon A Time, another lovely brown, liked her overall balance, correct length to height, excellent construction, presents a pleasing picture standing & moved well with drive. 2. Wilding's Bendale Love Me Do, feminine brown bitch, excellent neck & shoulder, correct rib, felt she was carrying too much weight which affected her movement. 3. Burditt's Mabursh Myling.

B.B.Exh.B. (2) 1. Wilding's Bendale Look Of Love, liked her shape & balance, good head, dark eye, did not always keep her topline. 2. C. First Lady.
